Delmer Harold Fritz, 90, of Burrton, died March 13, 2023, at home just as he wanted.  He was born March 21, 1932, in Freistatt, MO, to Herold Emil and Dora Louise (Doenning) Fritz.

Delmer graduated from Monett (MO) high school and took courses at Southwest Missouri State University.  He worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Parrott Hodnett, KansasLand Tire, Gullickson Tire, TO Haas, and Carey Park Golf Course.  He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson. Delmer served his country during the Korean War.  Delmer loved family time as well as golf and traveling.

On March 25, 1956, Delmer married Sue Keeny in Crane. MO.  They shared over 66 years of marriage.

Delmer is survived by: wife, Sue of Burrton; sons, Matt (Kerri) Fritz, Burrton and Eric (Claudia Martinez) Fritz of Xalapa, Mexico; brother Evert Fritz of Monett, MO; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; in-laws Hardy and Lois Keeny; and brothers, Nolan and Orbin.

Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday March 17, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary. Graveside service will take place on Monday March 20, 2023, at 1 p.m. in Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, MO.  Friends my sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
