Delores Louise Atkinson's Obituary
HUTCHINSON - Delores L. "Dee" Atkinson, 71, died Oct. 25, 2010, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Hutchinson, to Floyd J. and Ethel May Clifford Coleman.
She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1957. Dee was a bookkeeper and had worked for Dillon Warehouse and Jarvis Auto Supply.
On June 6, 1958, she married Ernest Lynn Atkinson in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, Mark Atkinson, Wichita; daughter, Gay Smith, Minnesota; mother, Ethel Coleman, Kansas City, Kan.; brother, Eldon Coleman, Sedalia, Mo.; sister, Barbara Luginbill, Kansas City, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Wayne Pittman officiating.Cremation has taken place.
Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas or American Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
