DeMaris R. Bucko, 92, of Hutchinson, died March 16, 2025, at her home. She was born November 10, 1932, in Pittsburgh, PA, to David and Ruth (Glass-Maiden) Shimp.

On July 4, 1952, she married Steve Bucko in Pittsburgh, PA. They shared nearly 63 of marriage before his death on August 9, 2015.

DeMaris happily worked in the clothing department at Dillon's Marketplace until she retired at the age of 88. She enjoyed reading and bargain shopping for sale items. DeMaris was a very social person and loved to meet new people and hear their stories.

DeMaris is survived by: children, Sharon Quigley and Steve Bucko Jr., both of Hutchinson; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Steve Bucko Sr.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
