Dennis "Rile" Riley, 60, died March 20, 2016, at Kansas Medical Center, Andover. He was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Payne, Ohio, to Wayne and Winifred (Lero) Riley.
Rile graduated from Wayne Trace High School in Payne, Ohio, in 1973. He was a carpenter, and in the winter, he worked as a bartender. Rile was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He was of the Catholic faith. Rile was loved by all and will be greatly missed. His grandchildren were his life. Rile loved them all unconditionally and they will greatly miss their pa-pa.
Survivors include: wife, Therese Ketchem of the home; daughters, Jessica Collier and husband Adrian of Denver, Colo., Abby Adkins and husband Casey of Pretty Prairie; son, Benjamin Ketchem of South Hutchinson; stepdaughters, Stephanie Wornkey and husband Chris of Hutchinson, Jennifer Rich of Wichita; stepson, Michael Rich of Wichita; sister, Cathy Fenter and husband Rick of Payne, Ohio; brothers, Steve Riley of Indianapolis, Ind., Patrick Brady of Garrett, Ind., Michael Brady and wife Holly of Fort Wayne, Ind.; nieces and nephews, Nathan Fenter, Spencer and Sloan Riley, Nicholas, A.J. and Megan Brady; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, John Brady.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
