Diane J. Berry's Obituary
Diane J. Berry, 72, died Dec. 22, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 13, 1943, in Lyons, to William and Doris (O'Brien) Richards.
On March 12, 1959, she married Roger R. Berry in Nickerson. He died Sept. 10, 2011. Diane worked for over 28 years as a buyer for Sirloin Stockade and was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandma. Survivors include: daughters, Tammi Burton and husband Gerald, and Traci Herrell, all of Hutchinson, and Teresa Sloyer (Phillip) of Texas; grandchildren, Justin and Kayla Herrell, Kole Laughlin and Shaylee G. of Hutchinson, Mitchell Sloyer of Idaho, Emily, and Katy Sloyer of Texas; her dogs, Shadow, Junior, Baby Jay; and grand-dogs, Rosco and Lucy. She was preceded in death by: her parents and husband, Roger.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Bob Phipps officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501
