Dolores M. Augustine, 86, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017. She was born March 10, 1930, in Russell, the daughter of Andrew and Kate (Heinze) Keller.
Dolores graduated from Russell High School and worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T as a telephone operator. She retired in 1986.
Dolores married Adolph F. Augustine on May 17, 1949, in Ellis. He died in 1985. She is survived by: sons, Patrick (Peggy) and Barry (Patricia), both of Hutchinson; brother, Milton Keller of Florida; sister-in-law, Jean Keller of Russell; granddaughter, Jeni (Josh) Henderson of Hutchinson; grandson-in-law, David Knofflock of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Courtney (Erik) McInturff, Colin and Carter Henderson, Misty and Jessica Knofflock; and great great-granddaughter, Georgia Huse. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Wilma Mitchell and Viola Keller; brothers, Paul, Leo, Wilbur and Gene Keller; and granddaughter, Sally Knofflock.
A private family graveside service will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
