Dolores "Dee" Cothrell, 80, died Nov. 15, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1935, in Peoria, Ill., to Ray and Mayme (Dantone) Christoffersen.

Dee was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts; such as crocheting and sewing.

On Dec. 25, 1952, she married Alan P. Cothrell in Peoria, Ill. They celebrated 62 years of marriage. Dee is survived by: husband, Alan of the home; daughters, Vicki Cox and husband Bob of Hutchinson, and Cathy Tucker; grandchildren, Shana Pitschke, Ashley Harmening, Anthony Harmening, all of Centennial, Colo., Shawn Cox of Hutchinson; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her father, Ray Christoffersen; mother, Mayme Zimmerman; brother, Raymond Christoffersen; and a granddaughter, Tonya Ward.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
