Dolores Marie Gullickson, 87, died January 25, 2013, at Hospice House. She was born July 2, 1925, in Larchwood, IA, to John Thomas and Elizabeth (Kramer) Meyers. A member of the Church of the Holy Cross, she was also a member of the Altar Society and Veronica Circle.

On November 15, 1946, she married Leon Edward Gullickson in Sioux Falls, SD. He died August 29, 1985.

Survivors include her children: Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson, Kiev, Ukraine, Karen M. Blackburn (Brian), Hutchinson, Lea Ann Frischknecht (Ernest), Vevey, Switzerland, Robert L. Gullickson, Hutchinson, Mary L. Bauer (Alan), Rogers, Ark., Terese Conrad, Wichita, Christine Dunagin (Sean), Rogers, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Dolores was preceded in death by a son, David John Gullickson, and seven brothers and sisters.

Parish rosary will be at 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013, with Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson and Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Church of the Holy Cross, or Hospice House, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
