Obituary

Don Ferguson, beloved father, grandpa and papa, age 60, died March 25, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Nov. 21, 1953, in Kingman, Kan.

Don was a sanitation engineer working for Stutzman Refuse for 40 years and was a member of Maranatha Mennonite Church. Don was an avid outdoorsman, with a great love of hunting and fishing. His surviving family, whom he loved very much, include: four children, Celia Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Michael Ferguson and Dale Ferguson and wife Tonya; six grandchildren, Zane and Makayla Ferguson, and Destiny, Tylan, Avery and Paxton Ferguson; parents, Ervin and Emma Stutzman, all of Hutchinson; and two sisters, Florence Galloway of Hutchinson and Virginia Ferguson of Rodgers, Ark.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, with Pastors Paul Nisly and Chad Eigsti presiding. Burial will follow in the Maranatha Mennonite Church Cemetery. In celebration of Don's love of hunting, we invite all attending to wear camo. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Maranatha Mennonite Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
