Donald Lee Adams, 79, of Hutchinson, died January 15, 2022, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton. He was born July 26, 1942, in Sand Springs, OK, to Vern H. and Rosie M. (Hendricks) Adams.

Don was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed working on his trucks, making sure they were spotless. He also enjoyed cooking and made the best pecan pies! Don was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Patricia "Patti" L. Adams, whom he married on October 22, 2018.

Also surviving are: his daughters, Teresa and Tammy; sisters, Bonnie Pressnell of Littleton, CO, Virginia Kasselman of Russellville, AR, Carol Dannels (Erwin) of Hutchinson; stepson, David Dennis (Helen) of Pensacola, FL; stepdaughter, Janet Penner (Cliff) of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Vern Jr., Eugene, Bob, Lewis; and a daughter, Darla.

A private family burial has taken place. A celebration of Don's life will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, in the Family Life Center at Westside Baptist Church, 400 West 12th Avenue, Hutchinson.
