Donald E. Dellinger, 75, died July 18, 2019, at his home.  He was born May 5, 1944, in Hutchinson, to Claud E. and Esther (Timkar) Dellinger.

Donald served in the United States Navy.  He worked for Consolidated Manufacturing in a variety of departments, including transmission. After retirement, he enjoyed working at Benton's Greenhouse.

On December 18, 1965, he married Shirley Snyder in Nowata, OK.  They shared almost 53 years of marriage.

Donald is survived by:  wife, Shirley; sons, Donald D. Dellinger, Michael D. Dellinger (Kristine), all of Hutchinson; Don Cully of Hastings, NE; brother, Eddie Dellinger; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, with two on the way.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents and brothers, Dale, Jack, and Larry.

Cremation has taken place.  The family will host a gathering at a later date.  Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501 is in charge of arrangements.
