Donald L. "Don" Friesen, 67, died Oct. 13, 2013, at Via Christi on St. Francis, Wichita. He was born Dec. 27, 1945, in Reedley, Calif., to Harvey H. and Lydia Friesen. Donald was Lydia's caregiver.

Donald is survived by: his mother, Lydia Friesen; sisters, Delores Friesen, Darlene Ray, Flo Hughes and husband Dave, Dot Davis and husband Johnny; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Loreva Schartz; and infant brother, Victor Friesen.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at CrossPoint Church, Westbrook Campus, with Pastor Dustin Busick officiating. Burial will be in Buhler Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
