Donald Wayne "Don" Ragsdale, 82, died February 22, 2023. Donald was born March 24, 1940, in Wichita, KS, to James O. and Ruby E. (Gillett) Ragsdale.

Don graduated from HCC and WSU. He served in the United States Navy, having served aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Lexington.  He retired from Fishers Transmission as a service writer. He loved to "Honky Tonk" in his younger days and in later years he enjoyed collecting US Mint Coin Sets and traveling all over the United States with his brother Bob. Together they traveled to 49 states. Donald was a member of Al Chymia Shrine in Memphis, Tennessee. Don loved his friends and family dearly.

Don is survived by: brother, Robert "Bob" Ragsdale; sister, Sue Ragsdale; nieces and nephews, Michaela Beamer, James Ragsdale Jr., Dwane Ragsdale, Robert Falcone, Denise Loy, Tony Ragsdale and Lisa Ragsdale.

He is preceded in death by: parents; brother, James Ragsdale, Sr.; and niece, Heather Coen.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary.
