Donald R. Horton, 68, died Sept. 19, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He was born Oct. 25, 1943, in Wichita, to Glen Reazy and Ann Louise Clarner Horton.
Donald retired from Eaton Corp. as a machinist, was a member of the United Machinist Union, Assistant Fire Chief in 1976 and former volunteer fire fighter for Partridge, and had a passion for dancing. Donald is survived by: daughters, Laura Mann and husband Dean of Hutchinson, Jennifer Harner and husband Donald of Arlington; son, Chris Horton and wife Lisa of Colton, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters; and a brother. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother; and a sister.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Steve Gill officiating. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.
