Donald Dale (Don) Keasling of Hutchinson, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, surrounded by his family. Don was born in Protection, Kansas, on July 6, 1934, to Dale and Irene (Barnes) Keasling.

On July 6, 1954, Don married Marjorie Venso, and together they raised five children while living and working in Newton, Ashland, and finally Hutchinson, since 1968.

Don was preceded in death by: his parents; twin sister, Donna; brother, James; eldest daughter, Donna Sue; and grandson, Jerod Christopher.

He is survived by: his loving wife of nearly 64 years, Marjorie; their four children and their families; and his eldest sister, Joyce Theander.
Don was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, doting great-grandfather, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew and loved him.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018, at First Congregational Church, 3410 N. Plum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Congregational Church or Hospice House, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
