Obituary

Donald Raymond LeBlanc, 72, died July 7, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Jan. 6, 1941, to Albert and Edmae Derousseau LeBlanc in Clyde, Kan.

Donald attended grade school in a one room country school, and graduated from Clyde Rural High School in 1959. He went on to attend Wichita Barber College and was a barber in Hutchinson and South Hutchinson for over 50 years. Donald was a partner in A & L Barbershop and later owned and operated Don's Barbershop and retired in 2012. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, Council 612, where he once was the Grand Knight.

On Nov. 23, 1963, he married Karen Ann Brosseau in Clyde, Kan. She survives. Other survivors include: children, Tim and wife Aigul of Wichita, Kan., Sherri Reeves of McPherson, Kan., Matt and wife Traci of Traverse City, Mich.; eight grandchildren; sister, Gloria Willoughby of Concordia, Kan.; "other brother", Jerry Arpin and wife Carolyn of Hutchinson, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Myrland and Larry LeBlanc; and sister, Betty Kouba.
Parish rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, and Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, with Father Ned Blick presiding. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe or Hospice of Reno County, all in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
