Donald E. Mendenhall's Obituary
INMAN - Donald E. Mendenhall, 63, died Sept. 10, 2006, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.
He was born Jan. 17, 1943, in Hutchinson, the son of Cecil Eugene and Kathryn I. Flemming Mendenhall. A longtime resident of South Hutchinson, moving from Wichita, he was a meat cutter at McConnell Air Force Base, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include: two brothers, Cecil Ross, Hammond, Ind., and Kenneth Frank, Emporia; and four sisters, Betty Jean Koch, Tucson, Ariz., Shirley Ann Stewart, Inman, Cecilia Arlene Richey, Tucson, Ariz., and Judith Lynn Stecklein, Wichita.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wayne Mendenhall.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fairlawn Burial Park, with Chaplain Art Maddock presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the Donald E. Mendenhall Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
