Donald Richardson, 87, passed from this earth on April 29, 2022. He was born March 13, 1935, in Alma, Nebraska, to Clive and Nellie Richardson.

Donald married Marlene Armstrong on December 25, 1953, in Burlington. He was employed by Cessna-Eaton for 43 years. After retirement Donald enjoyed working at First National Bank of Hutchinson for 15 years. A long time member of Eastwood Church of Christ, he served as a deacon and then elder for 20 years.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Irma Decker.

He is survived by: wife, Marlene, of the home; children, Keith Richardson, Hutchinson, Beth Reamer (Mike), Wichita, Ruth Vogt (Dick), Council Bluffs, Iowa, Jeff Richardson (Vicky), Hutchinson, Kevin Richardson (Karla), Liberty, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Donna Montague, Kings Lake, Nebraska; and brother, Larry Richardson, Lincoln, Nebraska.

There will be a private family graveside service at Peace Creek Cemetery. A celebration of life gathering will be from 2 to 4 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 8 am to 5 pm at Monday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
