Donald "Greg" Simmons, 49, died April 14, 2012, at Hutchinson Hospital. He was born June 11, 1962, the son of William and Gloria Simmons. Greg was a diesel mechanic and a truck driver.

On Feb. 6, 1994, he married Tracy Ann Jones in Stafford, Virginia. She survives.

Other survivors include: seven children, Kelly Boyd, Gregory and Matthew Simmons, all of Hutchinson, Cody, Caitlyn, Cierra, and Corey Simmons, all of the home; his parents, Bill and Gloria Simmons; brother, Ronald Smith; two sisters, Dawn Finamore, and Erin Smoyer, all of Pennsylvania; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Noreen Coulter.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service for family and close friends will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
