Donald Ray Walden's Obituary
Donald Ray Walden, 67, died April 18, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born Dec. 14, 1941, in Springdale, Ark., to Donald David and Amy Marie McQuiston Walden.
He was an oilfield worker and a mechanic.
On Nov. 1, 1971, he married Mary L. Pettay in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Ramona L. Wiggins and Liza K. Walden; son, Danny Ehrenbold; five brothers, James, Albert and wife Linda, Billy and wife Roberta, Eddie and wife Debbie, and Richard and wife Georgia; a sister, Lela Marlow; and three grandchildren, Jon and Shelby Walden, and Austin Souidaray, all of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Carl Walden; an infant brother, Kenneth Walden; and a sister, Barbara Stewart.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Eastside Cemetery, with Chaplain Art Maddock presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
