Donna Nadean Beals, 84, died Feb. 26, 2014, at Hospice House. She was born Sept. 9, 1929, to Albert E. and Cecile P. Pruner White, in Hutchinson, Kan.

She graduated from Reno Community High School in 1947 and was a phlebotomist at Hutchinson Hospital for many years.

She married Richard L. Beals on Oct. 7, 1950, in rural Nickerson. He died Aug. 20, 1999.

Survivors include: son, Gregg Beals and wife Judy of Hutchinson; grandsons, Scott Beals and wife Amanda, and Brett Beals and wife Bre, both of Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Chase, Taylor, and Brooklyn Beals, all of Hutchinson; brother, Larry White and wife Cheryl of Nickerson, sister, Delpha Engelland and husband Carroll of Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Richard Beals; brother, Robert "Bud" White; and sister-in-law, Evelyn White.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Judy Conners presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with the family to greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
