Donna Irene Chestnut's Obituary
Donna Irene Chestnut, 74, died Nov. 28, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Agra, Kan., to Lyle Clifton and Bernice Marie Miller Morgan.
Donna attended Agra High School. She had worked as a mail route contractor and a CNA.
On June 19, 1956, she married Glen Edwin Chestnut in Beloit. He died Jan. 3, 2004.
Survivors include: son, Rick Chestnut; daughter, Rita Chestnut; grandchildren, Deidre, Bridgette, Brittney, William "Toby" Chestnut, all of Hutchinson; brother, Harlan Morgan of Agra. Donna was preceded in death by: a son, Steven Chestnut; brothers, Harold, Leonard and Clifton Morgan; and sister, Doris Seems. Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Minister Raleigh Koehn officiating. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grandchildren College Fund: Deidre Chestnut, in care of the mortuary.
