Donna Belle Crupper, 86, died Aug. 4, 2012, at her home in Hutchinson, Kan. She was born Jan. 7, 1926, to Jesse James and Dixie Lena Conover Duggins, in Oxford, Kan.

Donna attended high school in Oxford and graduated in 1942, and went on to receive her nursing degree in Winfield in 1945.

She married Lee Bryce Crupper on Sept. 7, 1947, in Hutchinson, Kan. He died Sept. 18, 1982.

She belonged to the Darlow Study Club and was in the Cadet Nursing Corp.

Survivors include: daughters, Patty Crupper of Wichita, Polly Haltom and husband Randall of Hutchinson; son, Lanny Crupper and wife Peggy of Haven; stepdaughters, Sharon Dunlap of Great Bend, Sandy Milner of Cleburne, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Graveside service will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Fairlawn Burial Park, with Betty Bachman presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel.
