Donna Jones, 83, of Nickerson went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2021, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson.   She was born June 17, 1938, in Bluff City, KS, to Donald and Lillie (Welch) Jack.

Donna attended School in Hazelton Ks, then graduated from Greensburg High School in 1956.  She retired after 35 years as the bookkeeper for People's Bank and Trust of Nickerson.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Nickerson and was a member of the Easter Star of Nickerson, where she served as past Worthy Matron.

On April 20, 1957, she married Clayton William Jones, in Greensburg, KS.

Donna is survived by:  her husband of over 64 years, Clayton of Nickerson; son, Steve Jones (Terrel) of Wichita; daughters, Jamie Arneson (Jim) of South Hutchinson, and Carol McLemore (Mike) of Nickerson; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; sister, Kay Vice; and brother C. R. Jack.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life service at First Baptist Church, Nickerson, will be Saturday January 8, 2022 10 am.  Visitation with the family will be Friday January 7 6pm-8pm First Baptist Church Nickerson

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, Nickerson or Serenity Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
