Donna Nadine Mitzner, 76, died Monday, November 12, 2018, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born June 2, 1942, in Stafford, the daughter of Floyd H. and Wilma W. (Eidson) Heyen. Donna graduated from Stafford High School in 1960. She was a farm wife, homemaker, and helped her husband with his business, Gene's Furs. Donna belonged to Fairview United Methodist church, where she played the piano for services and was active in the United Methodist Women.

On April 12, 1963, Donna married Charlie E. 'Gene' Mitzner in Great Bend. He died May 24, 2011.

She is survived by: daughters, Linda Mitzner of Sterling and Brenda Unruh and husband Troy of Arlington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gene.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fairview Church cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Elliott Mortuary.
