Donna Louise Peterson, 75, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was born February 20, 1938, at Arlington, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy Kelman.

She was a graduate of Arlington High School, Hutchinson Community College and Fort Hays State University, and was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Kingman. Donna had been an office manager at Cessna and had retired in 1998, as a social and human resource caseworker for the State of Kansas.

On June 6, 1958, she married Brien Roy Peterson at Arlington. He died December 13, 2009. She is survived by: a son, Roy (Janice); a brother, Duane (Patty) Kelman; a sister, Alma Gene Hull; and a grandson, J. Glass, all of Arlington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Greg Peterson officiating, followed by a time of sharing at the Homebuilders Building at Carey Park. Friends may sign her register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
