LINDSBORG - Donna Radke, 74, died Feb. 6, 2006, at Hospice House of Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 11, 1931, in Topeka, the daughter of William T. and Leta Henderson Turnbull. She graduated
in 1949,
from Council Grove High School, and attended Emporia State University. A resident of Lindsborg for the past 14 years, moving from Garden City, she was a homemaker and library clerk for Garden City Public Schools.
She belonged to Bethany Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, where she was active in the Bell Choir, served on the Worship and Music Committee and Outreach Committee, and the Lindsborg Hospital Auxiliary.
On Aug. 13, 1950, she married Norman L. Radke in Council Grove. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Dennis and wife, Joyce, Hutchinson, and Darrell and wife, Karen, Newton; four grandchildren, David Radke, Stafford, Daniel Radke and wife, Tricia, Hutchinson, Bethany Radke, Newton, and Sarah Radke, Newton; and a great-grandson, Hunter Radke, Hutchinson.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, with the Rev. Charles Humphrey presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
