Donnie Lee Anderson, 74, of Haysville, died August 1, 2021, at Diversicare of Haysville. He was born May 3, 1947, in Joplin, Missouri to John and Roberta (Ruth) Anderson.

Donnie lived at Starkey in Wichita for many years. Through this organization he was able to work at various jobs, help with projects along with other residents, and participate in the Special Olympics. At the Special Olympics Donnie loved to compete in bowling and was very good at it. He loved sports and always amazed people with how many facts about them he knew.

Donnie is survived by: brother, Paul Anderson (Rita), Hutchinson; sister, Maryln Minor (Butch), Hutchinson; two nieces; two nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Wayne Anderson.

Cremation has taken place. There is no service at this time.
