Dora C. Mckeown's Obituary
Dora Catharina McKeown, 79, died March 11, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Feb. 16, 1929, in Antwerp, Belgium, the daughter of Victor and Florina DePrekel Keteleer. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was a cosmetologist.
She belonged to the V.F.W. Auxiliary Bob Campbell Post No. 1361, and the Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chapter No. 1371.
On March 15, 1947, she married Marvin Richard Schwein Sr. in Millberger, Ks. He died June 14, 1977.
Survivors include: a son, Marvin Schwein Jr., of Hutchinson; daughters, Maryann Swepston of South Hutchinson, Vicky Manche and husband Tom of Hutchinson, Sharon Toews and husband John of Omaha, Neb., and Sharoll Bickel and husband Mike of Abbyville; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sons Terry Lee Schwein and Jerry Dee Schwein, a brother Albert Keteleer and a sister, Yvonne.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Keith Dellenbach presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
