Doris I. Goodrick's Obituary
NICKERSON - Doris I. Goodrick, 82, died July 8, 2008, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born May 25, 1926, in Plainville, the daughter of Coliver William and Eva Irene Fischer Dunham.
She was a resident of Nickerson for over 60 years, and a 1944 Nickerson High School graduate. She retired from Berridge's IGA Store after 25 years. She belonged to Nickerson United Methodist Church.
On Dec. 24, 1945, she married Weir Joseph Goodrick in Hutchinson. He died Feb. 22, 2001.
Survivors include: brother, Donald Dunham and wife, Jeannie, Bloomington, Minn.; nephews, Mark and Mike Dunham; and friends, Kenneth K. King Jr. and Donna "Jody" King, Nickerson.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Eugene.
Memorial graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson, with the Rev. Robbie Fall officiating.
Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Nickerson United Methodist Church or Hospice of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
