Doris Kelley, 87, died December 16, 2013 at Golden Plains Health Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born June 11, 1925 in Silsbee, TX to John and Aline (Melonso) Gore. She married Leroy Clifford Kelley on November 21, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio. He died March 7, 2008. Doris was a housekeeper at Winfield State Hospital. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Vickie M. Kelley, Wichita; son, John E. Kelly, Sheboygan, WI; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Doris was preceded in death by: son, Michael Kelley and daughter-in-law, Delores Kelley.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Parker Cemetery, Arkansas City with Father Ruben Ortiz officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9-9 Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Kansas Humane Society in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
