Doris C. Leighnor's Obituary
Doris C. Leighnor, 75, died June 12, 2007, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 21, 1931, in Junction City, the daughter of Roy Johnson and Louise Moore Johnson Clewell. She was a 1949 graduate of Hutchinson High School and graduated from Hutchinson Junior College. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.
On Sept. 1, 1951, she married John K. "Jack" Leighnor in Oklahoma City. He died June 7, 1987.
Survivors include: two sons, John Jr. and Roy; a daughter, Anne Leighnor; a sister, Charlotte Cooke; and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan.
A private family graveside service will be held. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
