Dorothy Lorraine Biery, 86, of Hutchinson, died November 16, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born January 14, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, to George and Pearl (Sprat) Reder.

A resident of Hutchinson since 1973, Dorothy had her own catering business, 'Cakes by Dorothy', for many years and loved cooking and baking. She also worked at Cessna for awhile, in addition to waitressing. Dorothy was a member of Sweet Adelines and Park Place Christian Church.

She is survived by: children, Bob Biery, South Hutchinson, Frank Biery (Serenia), Bud Biery (Kim), all of Hutchinson, Lori Macy (Jack), South Hutchinson; sister, Arlene Wiley, Mena, AR; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, George Edward Reder II, Norman Reder, and Gilbert Recker.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson. Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
