Dorothy E. Eberhart, 92, died Aug. 26, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 27, 1916, in rural Ellinwood, to Jacob and Martha Stockman Eberhart.
She was a waitress and co-owner of Waxy's Café in Ellinwood for 40 years. She moved to Hutchinson in 1986.
Survivors include: daughter Pamela Jennings, Hutchinson; niece who Dorothy raised Eileen Klassen, Wichita; grandchildren Wayne and Cathy Kever, Ft. Collins, Colo. and Kim and Zach Crabbs, Salina; great grandchildren Justin and Ethan Kever, Ft. Collins, Colo. and Caleb and Eli Crabbs, Salina; two nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and a great granddaughter Alexia Marrie Crabbs.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at Park Place Christian Church with Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Lakin Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
