Dorothy F. Graber, 85, of Hutchinson, formerly of Pretty Prairie, died Feb. 3, 2011, at Elm Grove Estates in Hutchinson. She was born March 29, 1925, at Pretty Prairie, the daughter of John J. and Regina Graber Krehbiel.

She was a 1943 graduate of Pretty Prairie High School and attended Bethel College summer school. She taught at Savage Country School for one year before she was married. She was a member of First Mennonite Church at Pretty Prairie and Garden Valley Mennonite Brethren Church at Garden City. She was a homemaker and farm wife, as she and her husband farmed both at Pretty Prairie and Garden City. She belonged to the Hospitality Committee at Garden Valley Church and the Women's Sewing Society of the Pretty Prairie church.

She married Harvey R. Stucky on July 28, 1946, at Pretty Prairie. He died in a farm accident on July 20, 1950. She later married Donald D. Graber on April 22, 1958, in Pretty Prairie. He died Oct. 7, 2002. Survivors include: a son, Gerald Stucky of Hutchinson; a daughter, Jolene F. Cameron and husband John of Manhattan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Krehbiel and Ben Krehbiel, and two sisters, Alvina Schrag and Elma Soft.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at First Mennonite Church at Pretty Prairie. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Graber will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, and the family will greet friends Monday 6 to 8 p.m., all at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
