Dorothy May Hildenbrand, 88, died Aug. 23, 2015, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born March 2, 1927, in Kinsley, to Bruce and Ollie May (Work) Martin.

Dorothy graduated from Centerview High School in 1945. She was a caregiver.

Survivors include: nieces, Kasie Morrison (Tom) of Hutchinson and Theresa Arthur (Pat) of Wichita; nephews, David Ratzlaff (Tammy) of Galva, Larry Ratzlaff (Ruth) of Orlando, Fla., Dr. Randy Schmidt (Tammy) of Kinsley, Gary Schmidt (Glenda) of Burdett, Raymond Ulmer (Deb), Wesley Ulmer (Barb), and Charles Ulmer (Valerie), all of Oxnard, Calif. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Dean Martin; sisters, Ellen Ulmer, Roberta Schmidt, and Virginia Ratzlaff.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley, with Pastor Mike Howard officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
