Dorothy Ann Judy, 75, died Feb. 25, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born July 5, 1932, in Wamego, the daughter of Clarence Albert and Clara Luella McKowen Tanner. She graduated from Wamego High School and beauty school in Dodge City. A longtime resident of Great Bend, moving to South Hutchinson in 2004, she was a homemaker, and director of the Great Bend Housing Authority, retiring after 17 years.
She belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Harvest House.
On Nov. 8, 1952, she married J.W. Judy in Wamego. He died Nov. 18, 1990.
Other survivors include: two sons, Linford and wife, Peggy, Broomfield, Colo., and Ron and wife, Nancy, Hutchinson; a daughter, Kala Skolaut and husband, Mike, Wichita; a brother, Darrell Tanner, Larned; a sister, Betty Volz, Dodge City; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.
Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Father Brian Nelson presiding. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Great Bend City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
