Dorothy Lee (Stauffer) Keller, 86, died Nov. 8, 2010, at her home in Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 8, 1924, in Beauregard Parish, Carson, La., to Clyde and Velma Stauffer.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church in Hutchinson. While living in New Iberia, Dorothy volunteered at the St. Francis Diner in New Iberia, La., where she was in charge of the garage sale that raised money to purchase food for the diner, which provided meals for those in need.
On April 14, 1946, she married Valis W. Keller in DeRidder, La. He died Oct. 11, 1989. She then married Lloyd Duane Keller on Dec. 31, 2004, in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: daughters, Inaglee Lambert and husband Larry of Baton Rouge, La., Marilee Mayes of Hutchinson, Vickie Ragland of Newcastle, Okla., Evelyn Shultz of Randolph, Kan.; a sister, Kay Hester of New Iberia, La.; 11 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jackson Ragland.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at The Corner Stone Baptist Church in Hutchinson with Pastors Larry Wedel and Bob Shelton presiding. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mt. Hope, Kan.
