Dorothy Louise Masterson Landman, 89, died Oct. 24, 2007, at Hospice House.
She was born Feb. 18, 1918, in Wilmore, the daughter of Clarence Oliver and Ethel Lila McEowen Masterson. She was a graduate of Wilmore High School and attended Southwestern College. She was a longtime Hutchinson resident and a homemaker.
She belonged to First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of PEO Chapter BL and volunteered for many community organizations.
On Jan. 11, 1942, she married Lee G. Landman in Hutchinson. He died Oct. 11, 2000.
Survivors include: a son, William Lee Landman, Wichita; two daughters, Mary Lou Landman Yost, Mansfield, Texas, and Susan Landman Harwood, Lawrence; a daughter-in-law, Faye Pincus, Kansas City, Mo.; and grandchildren, Sam Landman Harwood and Haley Grace Harwood, both of Lawrence, Molly Masterson Landman, New York City, and Kyle Pincus Landman, Kansas City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Masterson Landman.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Tim Soule presiding. Friends may sign book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Family will receive friends following the service in the church parlor. Casket will remain closed. Private family graveside service will be at Penwell-Gabel's Cemetery and Mausoleum.
