Dorothy L. Roberts, 78, died July 2, 2006 at Hutchinson Hospital
She was born Nov. 3, 1927 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Ethel Margaret Thomas Lawrence. She was a 1944 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker and was a production supervisor for Western Foods, retiring in 1979, after 13 years of service.
She belonged to Mothers of Twins, Double Trouble Club, Hutchinson and the Kansas organization, Mothers of Twins.
On February 14, 1948 she married Harold E. "Toby" Roberts in South Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors includ; their children, Ronnie Roberts, Winfield, Carolyn Price, Janet Benson, Jeff Roberts and Annette Vedder all of Hutchinson; a sister, Katherine Mayes, Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Pastor Gary Salmans presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67502
