DELANO, Calif. – Dorothy Marie Wooledge Shaff, 89, formerly of Hutchinson, died June 28, 2016, at Delano Regional Medical Center, Delano, Calif. She was born July 21, 1926, at Belton, Mo., the daughter of Benjamin and Nora (Sampson) Wooledge.

She had attended Nickerson High School and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Delano, California.

She was married to Earl Shaff. He preceded her in death in April of 1981. Survivors include: four children; a brother, Everett Wooledge; and a sister, Barbara Spencer, both of Hutchinson. Also preceding her in death was her parents, Benjamin Wooledge and Nora Wallace; a son, and two sisters, Mary Schweitzer and Lois Fern Woodall.

Graveside Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Reverend Melissa Naylor presiding. Friends may sign the book 9-5 Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
