Dorothy M. Simmons' Obituary
Dorothy M. Simmons, 79 died July 3, 2006 at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.
She was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Reno County, the daughter of Willard and Alma P. Abel Mock. She attended Hutchinson Public Schools. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Faith United Methodist Church, TOPS and EHU.
On July 20, 1944, she married Earl R. Simmons in Sand Point, Idaho. He died Oct. 22, 2001.
Survivors include; a son, Ron; two daughters, Linda Wilson and Sharon Yoder; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Herbert Mock.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson with Rev. Ron Kite presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
