Douglas William "Doug" Schneider, 53, died December 11, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.  He was born July 12, 1968, in Great Bend, to Larry and Sharon (Marsh) Schneider.

Doug graduated from Great Bend High School in 1986, and later received his associates degree.  He enjoyed bow hunting and fishing.

On June 8, 1999, he married Barbara McMillian.  They shared 22 years of marriage.

Doug is survived by:  wife, Barbara of Eureka; mother, Sharon Schneider of Ellinwood; father, Larry Schneider of Great Bend; brother, David Schneider (Jaime) of South Hutchinson; uncle, Todd Schneider of Great Bend; aunts, Sally Davis and Pam Maresch, both of Texas; nephews and niece, Brett, Mason, and Marisa; three stepdaughters; nine step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Per Doug's wishes, there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
