Doyle Bell, 71, died Sept. 20, 2010, at Hospice House in Hutchinson.
He was born Jan. 27, 1939, in Willow, Okla., the son of Luther Lee and Eunice Simontin Bell.
He attended schools in Willow, Okla. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was a storage facility manager for Amoco Oil Co.
He belonged to Eastwood Church of Christ, Central Kansas Landlords Association, and was a member of the building committee and finance committee at the church.
On June 1, 1957, he married Wanda Cannady in Mangum, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Richard "Rick" Bell and wife Candy, and Terry Bell and wife Annette, all of Hutchinson; brothers, David Bell and wife Diane, Goddard; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Jimie-Wray Mead and Wayne DeWindt presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
