Eanos "Earl" Kee, 84, passed away Feb. 13, 2013, at Hospice House. He was born March 21, 1928, in Tamms, Ill., the son of Jesse Eugene and Donnetta Marie Kee.
He was retired military, with nine years in the U.S. Navy and 11 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the service, he worked in construction until 1989. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, he was a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church.
He married Elizabeth Ellen Crotts on Nov. 18, 1956. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Edwin and wife Diane of Cumming, Ga., and Michael of Coulterville, Ill.; four brothers, Conrad of Staunton, Ill., Denny of Collinsville, Ill., Bobby Dean of Medford, Ore., and Stanley of McClure, Ill.; two sisters, Donna Mathis of McClure, Ill., and Betty Lou Baldwin of Granite City, Ill.; two grandsons, Chad and wife Hillary of Cumming, Ga., and Michael Jr.; granddaughter, Cassandra; and two great-granddaughters, Issabella and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Partridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Tom Robson presiding. Military honors will be provided by McConnell Air Force Base. The casket will remain closed. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
