Earl D. Britain, 91, died July 8, 2012, at his home. He was born Dec. 9, 1920, to Lawson and Elfie Worth Britain.
He was a truck driver. He was in the United States Air Force.
On Oct. 6, 1941, he married Alvinia M. Thiessen. She died in 1988.
He is survived by: a son, Ronny Britain; daughters, Mary Mumford and Elizabeth Chance.
He is preceded in death by: his parents and a daughter, Doris Britain.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. Friends may sign the book Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
