Earl C. Ewing's Obituary
Earl C. Ewing, 81, Hutchinson, died Jan. 22, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born May 8, 1927, at Tahlequah, Okla., the son of James Russell Sr. and Maudie Ethel Ballard Ewing.
He was a retired ranch hand in Northern California and farm hand at Haven. He was also a regular at the 4th Street McDonald's Coffee Group.
Mr. Ewing is survived by: six children, Earlene, Linda, Karen, Sandy, Betty and Leroy; four siblings including a brother, James Ewing and a sister, Alice Weimaster, both of Hutchinson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
A memorial graveside inurnment service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Pastor Travis Henehah presiding. A book will be available for friends to sign on Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the mortuary.
