Earl A. Fenwick, 94, died December 15, 2017, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born April 1, 1923, in Nickerson to Charles E. and Minnie Jane (Whitson) Fenwick. Earl worked for Singleton-Joyce Optical for 30 years. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. Earl was an active member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church, Disabled American Veterans, and V.F.W. Bob Campbell Post #1361.
On March 28, 1948, he married Helen M. Youngberg in Hutchinson. They shared 69 years of marriage.
Earl is survived by: wife, Helen of the home; daughter, Roxann Rutherford and husband Ray of Hutchinson; son, Ron Fenwick and wife Marsha of Buhler; five grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and siblings, Elmer, Raymond, Leroy, Charles Jr., Everett, Annabelle, and Lula.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Pastor Wilmar Harder officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Fort Riley Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
