Edith Evelyn Yoder Phillips Cline, 96, died Dec. 27, 2007, at Hospice House.
She was born Aug. 15, 1911, on a farm north west of Inman, the daughter of Levi M. and Tillie Yoder. A longtime resident of the Hutchinson and Inman areas, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Mitchell United Methodist Chapel and Monitor Church of the Brethren.
On June 7, 1938, she married Joseph A. Phillips in Garden City. He died April 11, 1960. On July 28, 1980, she married Clyde Cline in Hutchinson. He died May 4, 1988.
Survivors include: two sons, Gene Phillips and wife Lois and Duane Phillips and wife Alice Marie, all of Hutchinson; a stepdaughter, Lorene Gayer and husband Glenn, McPherson; a brother, Allen Yoder, Wellman, Iowa; a sister, Maude Coryell, Olympia, Wash.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Delma Miller; two brothers, Cline Yoder and Rolland Yoder; and two sisters, Maggie Cooley and Lula Schuelke.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Mitchell United Methodist Chapel, with the Rev. John Wright presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson.
