Edna D. Yoder, 82, died June 15, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Thomas, Okla., to Ike and Fannie Gingerich Yoder.

On April 16, 1953, Edna married Elmer H. Yoder in Thomas, Okla. He died in December of 2004.

Survivors include: sons, Gary Yoder and wife Jewel of Harrisonburg, Va., Duane Yoder and wife Kathleen of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Brendan Yoder and wife Rebekah of Soldotna, Alaska., Kyle Yoder of Grottoes, Va., Stephanie Yoder of Bridgewater, Va., Brad Yoder of Manhattan, Kelly Voth and husband Kelcy of Chicago, Ill., Greg Yoder of Hutchinson; brother, Alva Yoder and wife Alma of Leon, Iowa; sisters, Irene Yoder of Legonier, Ind., Edith Schrock and husband Joni of Huntsville, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2011, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at South Hutchinson Mennonite Church, South Hutchinson, and Saturday, June 18, 2011, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Journey at Yoder Church, Yoder. Graveside service will be Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. at Yoder Cemetery, Yoder.

Memorial service will be Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at South Hutchinson Mennonite Church, South Hutchinson, with Pastor Jeremy Patterson presiding.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
